RSMS Update: MR 187.234(c) – work experience

The DIBP Permanent Employer Sponsored Section has provided further information regarding the change in policy for Migration Regulation 187.234(c).

…In order to meet this regulation, the delegate would need to be satisfied that the visa applicant had the qualifications as listed in ANZSCO for the nominated occupation. If Cert IV is listed in ANZSCO for a nominated occupation, the applicant is not required to demonstrate any on-the-job training. The delegate will need to be satisfied that the applicant has the relevant skills and qualifications to perform the tasks of the nominated position.
