Accountants occupational ceiling 2016/17

The Migration Institute of Australia has received clarification from the Department on the 2016/17 occupational ceiling for accountants. The figure of 4777 includes the number of accountants who will be approved for both the points tested visa and employer sponsored visas. The Department told the institute that this will provide a more accurate figure for accountant planning levels across the whole skilled migration program.
